"I wanted to write to say thank you for taking care of Bindy whilst my
parents were on holidays! I am emailing on their behalf. Bindy lives in
Minnesota with my parents.
It was the first time Bindy was away from home and cared for by non-family.
Bindy is generally very scared of strangers, as he has not had much exposure.
My parents were extremely worried about leaving Bindy. I think they were
hesitant to even take a holiday because they would have to leave him and
didn't know how he would cope. They were afraid that Bindy would develop
behavioural problems or lose trust in them. They were scared that he would
stop eating. They were scared that he would no longer be the happy well
adjusted bird they had come to know!
My parents could not have been happier with Avian Suites. They were thrilled
with being able to set up his cage in the same way it is done at home. They
were thrilled with the diet he would receive. They were extremely impressed
with all the staff and were pleasantly surprised with how well Bindy took to
each carer. They were very happy with the amount of time that was devoted to
Bindy on a day-to-day basis. They were impressed with Avian Suites for wanting
to know Bindy's favourite foods, toys, words he likes to hear, and his daily
patterns. All of these things led to Bindy being a happy and well adjusted
bird who didn't seem to mind that his parents had a holiday! Bindy settled
back into his daily routine fabulously when discharged from Avian Suites. It
was as if he had never been away. I'm certain it probably even helped him
become a more social bird, trusting in new people. It was a great experience
for all of us knowing that Bindy will cope just fine when he makes a visit to
Avian Suites in the future....we know he loves it.
So thank you for having this service available to bird owners who want the
best for their feathered family member. I can, and my parents can, recommend
Avian Suites to any one without hesitation."

our Green-Winged Macaw, Harry, when we are gone.
The care he receives from the folks at Avian Suites is wonderful! While
Harry does miss us when we are gone, the staff at Avian Suites are like his
